Troubleshooting Windows NT and Windows 2000
Refreshing TCP/IP settings in Windows NT and Windows 2000:
- Click the Start button and click Run
. In the Open field, type ipconfig
/renew and click the OK button. A command
prompt window will appear, your TCP/IP settings will
be refreshed, and the window will disappear.

- To check your IP address, click the Start button
and click Run . In the Open field, type
cmd and
click OK. A command prompt window will appear.
- Type ipconfig
/all and press the ENTER key on your keyboard.
The command window will update to show your network
information, including your IP address.

Having refreshed your TCP/IP settings, you can now return to Configuring the HomePortal to Access the Internet.
