Refreshing TCP/IP settings in Windows NT and Windows 2000:
Click the Start button and click Run. In the Open field, type ipconfig /renew and click the OK button. A command prompt window will appear, your TCP/IP settings will be refreshed, and the window will disappear. The Command Prompt Window To check your IP address, click the Start button and click Run. In the Open field, type cmd and click OK. A command prompt window will appear. Type ipconfig /all and press the ENTER key on your keyboard. The command window will update to show your network information, including your IP address. A Command Prompt Window with Network Information Having refreshed your TCP/IP settings, you can now return to Configuring the HomePortal to Access the Internet.
