Shut down the computer, and unplug all the cables except for the power cord.

Turn your computer upside down on a soft, clean cloth. Touch the bare metal port access cover on the back of the computer to discharge static electricity.

Unplug the power cord. Push down on the latch to release it, then allow the latch to extend completely.

Gently pull the latch to lift the core out of its enclosure. Place the core on a soft cloth.

Remove the metal clip, and pull the AirPort card from the AirPort card connector.

Insert the AirPort card through the opening in the card guide, and into the connector on the main logic board.

Connect the antenna cable to the antenna port on the AirPort card. This cable is usually stowed on the side of the card guide. Be careful not to bend or crimp the cable.

Holding the core by the latch, insert it back into the enclosure. Position the core so that the ports are toward the back of the enclosure.
Replace the Core

Press the latch until it locks into place. Firmly press the core itself to ensure that it is secure within the enclosure.
