Before your remote computer can join your wireless home network, we will need to install software, insert the PCMCIA wireless network adapter, and configure the software.

To install the network adapter software:

1. Close any antivirus software.

2. Click the link below to begin installing the software driver:

   /hardware/orinoco/drivers/pcmcia/win95.exe

3. In the File Download window, select Run this program from its current location, and click OK.

4. You may see a message about a missing signature. Click Yes to continue the installation. The Information window will open.

5. Click Next. The Orinoco PCMCIA Wireless window will open.

6. Click Extract to continue with the installation. The Confirmation window will open.

7. Click Yes. When your computer finishes installing the necessary files, the Client Manager Setup Welcome screen will open.

8. Click Next. The License Agreement window will open.

9. Read the License Agreement and click Yes to accept it. The Destination Location window will open.

10. Click Next to use the default destination. The Select Program Folder window will open.

11. Click Next at the Select Program Folder window. There may be a delay while your computer completes the installation, then the Install Shield Wizard Complete screen will appear.

12. Uncheck the I'd like to start the Client Manager box, and click Finish to complete the installation of the Client Manager.

13. Shut down your computer.
